freedom in 2

so i haven't gotten the time to update my life in detail.

unfortunately, i am way beyond lazy to recap my past few weeks.

for those of you who have facebook, you can take a look at my recent albums and know the gist of how i've been doing. but you might be saying, "pictures make things seem better than they really are!"

.... andddd you're right.
you can't tell what i'm thinking behind all those smiles. (LOL jk that sounded so emo. i promise i'm not.)

ok to summarize my busy first-2-weeks-of-may...
-my 24th birthday was a BIG blessing. i think it turns out the best when you don't expect too much and thank God for every little part of your day. all throughout middle and high school, i made countdown charts starting from 100 days and reminded my parents each day. "86 days leftttt~~" "appa, appa, appa, look. only 52 days left!" how annoying.

-disneyland (may 5): although we went on a saturday and there were sooo many people, we only waited about 25 minutes on average for rides. weather was perfect. company was perfect. everything was perfect. :)

-moving in: the whole day in general went well. we met around 10:30 am and got back from loma linda at around 9pm. i did NOT expect for it to take so freaking long (my car got lost on the freeway for 40 minutes), but what's done is done and i'm very happy with my apartment. my sister even gave me 5 $25 gift cards to black angus to treat the guys out + $200 allowance. is she the best or is she the best. anyway, my apt looks new, my room is a pretty decent size, i have TWO CLOSETS (hehehe), and a tennis court, basketball court, jacuzzi, and bbq grill RIGHT outside my unit. it's literally the view i see outside my room window. pahtee in the U.S. of A?

-wedding: fanciest/most fun/most beautiful wedding i've been to or probably will ever go to. i'm 94% sure it costed more than $100K. and the mere fact that the bride and groom are my friends made it even more special. they are so in love and it was so heartwarming to watch them say their vows to each other in front of 280 people. usually when i see couples, i say the guy is lucky, but in this situation i'd have to say they both are for having each other. i hope people can say that about me and my future husband. anyway, i was so sore the next day from having danced all night. speaking of which, i regret not participating in the girls dance-off. UGH. everyone pushed me to go up but like a pansy i hid behind the table. turns out the only girl who went up did contemporary ballet moves. what. the. heck. how did that win her a $100 gift card to southwest airlines?? i'm confident i heard more than 5 "sarah why didn't you go up there?!"'s that night. ell oh ell.

so half of this week was dedicated to studying for my last midterm. i actually don't really call it studying because... it kinda sorta wasn't. whatevs. got that under my belt. 2 weeks left til physio is OVER. 2 weeks left til i narrow my work days from 7 days/week (kay calls my tutoring job "all-day-err-day") to 4.

1 month left til i begin my OT journey.
maybe i'll start a new blog: "sku, how's grad school?"
(speaking of which. today i calculated the numbers and realized i'll be $100K+ in debt by 2015, when i'll be turning 27.........
hi, God? will there still be a guy willing to live with me for the rest of his life?)
