long overdue, i know

Hello,

I have been purposely avoiding this blog because I knew that once I'd start writing something, I'd go off on many tangents and just end up barfing stuff out. And then it'd make total sense to me and sound like gibberish to you.

But, I can't seem to abandon this blog, no matter how long it's been. It's become a part of me. {cue dramatic song}

I want to write about the dream I had last night (more specifically the 2 people I wanted to see least in it), but it's kindasorta personal and this blog is kindasorta public. Start a diary? No, I don't want a bulky hand. I don't know how I kept a diary almost all throughout college.

Anyway, last week was filled with life lessons and re-realizations and I was so excited to share!
.... But then I had a test/quiz/assignment due/something errday and it was just not fun. That excitement dissolved pretty quickly.

I don't know what else to say without going deep. I have to go to school in about 30 minutes, but I went on this instead, knowing that I'd keep pushing it back if I didn't do it now.

Oh okay, a few updates and then I'll end it here:
- I am the new SOTA (Student Occupational Therapy Association) Historian. Yay! The fact that my classmates came up to me and asked if I was going to run for it, knowing I like to take pictures and make videos, was very encouraging. Actually, they're more than half (I like to be accurate) the reason I ran.

- I'm going to Maui with my sister and her family for a week this December. I haven't gone to Hawaii in 10 years. Thus, the excitement.

- I'm learning the drums from a friend in my class. He even gives me homework. It's serious business. I'm determined to be called a drummer, and my goal is to play with a (praise) band.
