sick
i've always taken pride in not getting sick when people around me are. even during the fierce winter weather in korea, i did not catch a cold (thank you God).
2 family members are currently sick and coughing up a freaking storm everywhere around the house and phlegm-ing it up. it is germ nation, and i am finally ill. and humbled.
and guess who those 2 family members are.
none other than dear ol' grandmama and auntie -- the 2 people who give me the hardest time in this post-grad-living-at-home life.
i think stella's germaphobia rubbed off on me and now i have to wash my hands after almost every questionable thing i touch (if a sink and soap are available). seeing my grandma and aunt cough all over the place without covering their mouth [for the lack of a better phrase] PISSES ME OFF.
i had to cancel work today and i just called in to cancel tomorrow's sessions too. it's killing me inside.
to those of you who have faithfully read my blog since the very beginning:
do you remember this post? and that voice? (this was actually before winter hit, so it doesn't count!)
my grandma's voice right now is that x10 (well, because her voice is raspy to begin with).
i'm starting to feel a headache and runny nose. i have lab in 50 minutes. ughhhhhhhhh i DREAD looking for parking.
but i finally wrote my letter of recommendation and now i just have to get my professor's signature.
bye.
