anyway, current dilemma:
whether to live on or off campus at LLU.
i asked a friend just now what he did when he first started and whether or not he recommends on-campus housing. he said this:
"Hey Sarah. I live right across the street from parking lot X. And I've been living here since I started school. I don't really recommend on campus housing because they are really strict. 1.) You can't cook meat in you rooms. 2.) Everytime you have a male guest over (friend, brother, dad, w/e, they'll announce to the WHOLE dorms that a male is in the building - i know... really retarded) 3.) they'll randomly come in and check what's going on. 4.) I think my friend said last year that there were drills. iono.... just not a really popular choice to go on campus."
FUN MY LIFE @ #1.
HA HA HA WADDAHAIL @ #2. ARE YOU KIDDING ME @ #3.
reminds-me-of-1st-and-2nd-year-at-UCSD @ #4.
and then -- talking about living off-campus:
"... Around 800 for 2 bedroom. So You'll have to find a roomate. But the only risk is... if you sign the 1 year lease with someone you dont know and they turn out to be a major beezyhoe...then... HAHA. but yeah.... that would be the best option."
HAHAHA @ beezyhoe
*edit: took out the rest JUST IN CASE haha
hmmm. what to freaking DO!! i read on a forum somewhere that it's best to live on campus for the first semester or two because of the late-nights and the workload. but i mean.... having read everything above, what would you do?
ok anyway, there's about 3.5 months left til school starts. i'm pretty excited. but i realized that it'll be my first time not knowing anyone at the school (except for the aforementioned friend). it'll legitly be a fresh new start for me. i hope i don't stay a loner for all 2 years&9 months. ok, oba i know.
hahahah well i don't know, sarah... there are quite a few african-american families living there....... wow.
