all moved in

hello!
so i am currently in my new room at loma linda. it is day 2, almost 24 hours since i got here.
yesterday i moved in all by myself. it took about 30 minutes to unload, and then about 10 hours to clean/organize/put up/put away things. i am going to die.

i have a headache right now and i'm freaking hungry but i don't have an appetite. yay

anyway, just a few thoughts on my last almost-24 hours here:

1. i love my new room. i haven't had my own room since....... sophomore year in college? not at ucsd but at home. i was barely home though, and it didn't even feel like my room. it wasn't personalized at all.
PLUS, i have 2 closets and a bathroom all to myself. HEEHEE. PLUS i have separate storage for my arts/crafts stuff! sighhhh :))

2. i live walking distance to walmart. I. LOVE. IT. i also live 10 minutes (or less) driving distance away from the following (the ones i can remember/care about):
-kmart
-target
-michael's
-kohl's
-souplantation
-hometown buffet
-costco & sams club (right across each other)
-99cents store
-smart&final
-food4less
-joann's
-barnes&nobles
-all the fast food chains you can think of (including in n out & wienerschnitzel)

and there's probably more that i don't know about.

3. i keep forgetting this is a predominantly seventh-day city. when i went to walmart yesterday, i heard 2 men casually talking about the blood of Jesus covering our sins. then i heard 2 african-american ladies talking about where their church is located. and after that in the parking lot, i saw a license plate frame that said "Divine Savior" or something. it's weird... but kinda cool? but not.

4. in the last however many hours i was here, i spent about $250. cheers to being broke.

5. i still have somewhat of a headache, my pee is highlighter yellow, and my body is so tired. but it's dinner time and i don't know what to eat. my mom ordered me cinnamon toast crunch in bulk, so i have 6 boxes of it sitting in the pantry. dinner? i'm too tired to go out again.........


about 5 more hours til stella and jeanne get here!
then off to SD in the morning for graduations (omg my body is going to die on me)
